Gethar Desktop Application: The Core Interaction Tool

The primary tool for interacting with the ecosystem is the Gethar desktop application, available for Windows and macOS. Through this application, users gain access to all platform features, including:

  • Creating an avatar and a room

  • Communication and social interaction

  • Conducting transactions

  • Participating in events

  • Managing tokens and NFTs

The application is designed with a focus on usability, security, and rich functionality, combining elements of a game, social network, and crypto wallet.

Below are the key features of the Gethar client.

Application Functionality and Gameplay Features

Profile and Room Creation

New users register (linking their Stellar crypto wallet) and create their profile by selecting or purchasing an NFT avatar-character and customizing its appearance. Each user is also provided with a personal virtual room, which can be decorated with NFT-based decor to reflect their style. The room serves as both a private space and an interactive gaming hub: the owner can invite others, host events, and set custom rules (e.g., configuring a guest tax).

Built-in Crypto Wallet

The application integrates a full-featured Stellar wallet, allowing users to securely store and manage their GTH tokens and NFTs. The interface displays:

  • Token balances

  • Owned NFTs

  • Transaction history

All transactions—sending tokens to a friend, purchasing NFTs, or withdrawing funds—are executed directly within the client. Private keys are securely stored on the user’s device, and transactions are signed locally before being sent to the network, ensuring a non-custodial experience where Gethar never has access to user funds.

Gameplay: Rooms and Events

User-created rooms are not just static chat spaces—they are interactive environments where users can move their 3D avatars and interact with objects. Developers are continuously adding new gameplay elements, such as:

  • Mini-games and puzzles

  • Cooperative tasks and challenges

  • Special quests and missions where users explore rooms, solve encrypted clues, and earn rewards (tokens, NFT loot chests)

Regular competitions include:

  • Quizzes

  • Best-themed room design contests (with community voting)

The app technically supports such events with participant registration, result tracking, and automatic prize distribution, making Gethar an engaging and rewarding social experience where interaction directly connects to earning opportunities.

Achievement System

To boost engagement, the platform includes an achievement system, rewarding users with badges and trophies (including NFT trophies) for accomplishments like:

  • First marketplace transactions

  • Character upgrades

  • Participation in beta testing

Certain achievements grant one-time token bonuses or reward chests, encouraging users to explore all aspects of the platform while keeping the experience fresh and motivating.
