Frequency and Duration

• Frequency: Every week, from Friday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC.

• Duration: 48 hours, covering the weekend days for maximum user accessibility.

How the Event Works

• Participation: All registered Gethar users automatically participate by engaging in platform activities.

• Obtaining Chests:

  • 1 hour on video calls = 1 Common Chest.

  • Participation in any event (e.g., Showcase) = 1 Rare Chest.

  • 10+ hours of activity over the weekend = 1 Legendary Chest (limited to 1 per user).

• Opening Chests: Chests can be opened on Monday after the weekend for a fixed GTH fee (Common — 25 GTH, Rare — 100 GTH, Legendary — 500 GTH), which is then burned.

• Technical Implementation: The Stellar Soroban smart contract tracks activity and issues chests, recording data on the blockchain for transparency.

Prize Pool

• Total Pool: Approximately 300,000 GTH weekly (from the "Tournaments and Rewards" pool — 10% of 3 billion GTH, which is around 30 million GTH per year, or approximately 576,000 GTH per week, with a portion allocated to the Mystery Box Weekend).

• Burning: All GTH spent on opening chests is burned, supporting deflation.

Example Calculation

A user spends 5 hours on video calls (5 Common Chests) and participates in an event (1 Rare Chest). Opening cost: 5 × 25 GTH + 100 GTH = 225 GTH (burned). Reward: 10 GTH + 1 Rare NFT.

• Economy: A small fund (0.5–1% of the weekly pool budget) and the burning of GTH for opening chests make the event sustainable.
